Since I have been busy latley I haven't had the time to create something new, but a new Magazine called Flea Market Style came out It inspired me to use some of my junk in just decorating! Link also to the right.
The old glass globe below is a fav of mine and I am waiting to find just the right idea to make it special, it currently has a candle in it but doesn't show uo due to the flash.
The fan Ibought last summer for 1 dollar! An old part of a book wrapped in twine and an old paperback book folded into a tree, I made some of these around Christmas time, I have plans to add a rusty star to the top and spray with glitter, for next year.
In the magazine, if you seen one the folded pages of the book could be put to good use, a later blog post!!!

ReplyDeleteYou know I sometimes think our junk is just perfect for decor just like you did. It's art itself and doesn't necessarily need to be re-purposed. I have a jar of rusty junk like yours and I LOVE IT.
