While I was camping at the beach, my friend Rhonda showed me a quilt she made a couple of years ago. I instantly fell in love with it and how it is made!
Sewing circles on a square then cutting the square in quarters, putting them all in a bag and randomly pulling them out and sewing them into a square again! Love the frayed edges!
Then she had it machine quilted.
Love it...I've never seen one like it!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt! So unique, and it looks like it was pretty complicated too. Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING this quilt...very cool idea, especially for those of us who like our stuff a bit tattered...quick, easy, and what a great way to use up all of those scraps that seem to accumulate! Thanks for sharing this...might just be one of my next summer projects! I'm going to the post to print off a picture, si I don't forget! Happy Wednesday *elaine*
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful. My sister is a quilter and I know how much work goes into creating them. Your friends quit is so creative!
